This explains the Jenova/Sephiroth clone situation better than I am able to do so. The point is Sephiroth was frozen in the crater for most of the game, and it was Jenova taking his form who you chased and repeatedly encountered.

And that's where we will have to agree to disagree.  I believe Jenova was in command, you believe Sephiroth was in command, and there is evidence to support either theory.  I would probably have a higher opinion of Sephiroth if I believed he was in command, but I really think he was manipulated most of the time.  Still, I think we have agreed as much as possible on this and are down to a difference of opinion.
