I'm a paramedic, so all a recession means to me is cheap gas. However, as soon as obamas tax plans go through I know a lotta people who are going to be screwed. My dad has to fire two people from his business. His best friend has to fire 7 from his. Two of my moms friends who own small businesses will have to close. They're over the 250k a year mark (what business isn't?) but they personally make about as much as someone who works in a grocery store. It's already worth nothing for them except maybe as a status symbol to say "Hey, I own my own business.". One of my best friends works for my dad as a computer tech guy, and he's pretty sure he's gonna be one of the two that are screwed since he's low guy on the pole.
That's a lot of people I know personally that are going to be screwed by Obamas tax plans. Now they have to find jobs in an already down economy. God help us. I can't imagine how many businesses are going to go out of business and how many people are going to be fired because nobody can afford his stupid tax "plan". I really, really hope he changes his mind.
