So far it hasn't affected me (except psychologically which I'd guess it affected most people).

My job is pretty safe for an year or two at least, since I'm working on a project which simply can't be stopped or postponed... Well, never say never, but if it is, things are probably really bad everywhere. The company where I work at has a huge cash reserve so it should be fine.

Do you work for SPECTRE?

Awesome.

Nope, they said I was over-qualified.

I work for a telecommunications company, and I'm working on the next big thing (LTE). If they stopped this project, it would amount to stagnating as a business. Not gonna happen unless things go horribly wrong.

The huge cash reserve is because after the 2002 telecom crash most telecom companies decided to create a safety cushion.

You can't be overqualified to terrorize people. The smarter you are, the most ingenious methods you devise to warp the world into your cruel, twisted image.

Meh, ever since the guy with the cat died, SPECTRE has been on the decline anyway.
