@OP
Well, it is definitely better than COD3 but it still has some really irritating flaws that just don't let the game deliver.
I'm not gonna mention every flaw that I noticed but these are some:
I mean Hardened Difficulty what, 7-8 hours? For a WWII shooter?
And, WTH, how many times are you gonna invade Berlin in Call of Duties? Didn't someone from Treyarch play the original Call of Duty on PC when you rise the Russian Flag?
The Pacific setting is really good but it is sooooo damn linear. Once again, bushes that you can't jump over, invisible walls everywhere, windows that you can pass etc etc.
And those triger points. God! I got stuck outside Reich's Parliament cause I just didn't move some inches forward to triger the sequence. And died a lot there (3 shots in hardened are enough)
And what is going on with the respawning thing? OK, it was understandable in Veteran difficulty in COD4, but here it gets really annoying. If you don't make the suitable move you'll be short of ammo, shooting the same enemies spawning at the same pints in the battleground.
AI and explosions, as mentioned at the OP without comment. And you can fry alive dozens of enemies with the flamethrower but no fellow soldier won't feel a thing even if you empty the god damn gas tank on him.
And many others which I am really bored to mention.
Some goods:
Great graphics, good animation, fast paced and really big scale battles (this is a bloody battlefield!), unique and original scenery (I never played the Medal of Honor taking place in the Pacific so I hadn't experienced something like this before) though I expected more especially in Okinawa.
Bottom Line, the best Treyarch Call of Duty (including Big Red One and 3), but still, sometimes feels unfinished...
