I know it's not what you probably want to hear.
Get a degree in computer science, game programming (if it's offered), software engineering or computer animation from a real college. Do not go to an overpriced bull shit school.
I live right next to Full Sail in Orlando and the people who go there do not generally find work, some do but probably would have found work with out a degree because they are that talented or they had another degree. From talking to them it seems the DeVry's and OnlineU's are just as bull shitty.
Also make a game.
Edit: BTW, those schools advertise 99% employment, they neglect to mention that they either have unrelated jobs or work as testers and struggle to pay off the $50-70k debt.
