I'd like to point out something ironic that we'll see here.

We're gonna have every PS3 fan on this forum comment on this thread.

They'll say things like "another square-enix screw-up" or "square sucks" or "MS bought another flop."

However, the irony is that if OXM had given this game a 10/10, these same people would say "It's OXM, of course they gave it a 10/10," and "Let's wait for some real review sites, this one source isn't credible," or, "OXM, enough said."

The irony doesn't lie in their hypocrisy. It's expected. What's ironic is how kids today couldn't hate corrupt government, intolerance, special interests, and bias more than they do now, yet any one of these folks would be far more bias and corrupt given the same responsibilities as any government official in any government.

I can tell you the people on this website, that you could trust IRL with any kind of social responsibility, and those that you couldn't. Fanboyism has nothing to do with what console you like. It's about the type of person that you are.

I have no problem with SE I Just think they should stick to making one or two game titles at a time and put their best people on them.

You do realise in the year that Final Fantasy 7 dropped, Squaresoft (back then) had also brought out Bushido Blade, Final Fantasy Tactics and SaGa Frontier right? Since releases in 1996 would have been worked on at around the same time (ditto 1998), it's pretty safe to say that during what you feel was Square's prime (FF7), they were working on more than just one or two games

Square-Enix is one of the biggest JRPG companies in the world, they have more than enough staff to handle making a bunch of games.

Instead, what Square enix needs to do is return to it's old ways of running the company, whereby each games sales had to fund it's own development (or rather reimburse the funds used for development), or at least keep the shovelware inside Japan, so that we don't hear people complaining about it.

EDIT: I thought I should post something on topic.

I really wanted Last remnant to be good, this generation of home consoles has been starved of truly great JRPG's (I know I've only played one and could name about 2 or 3 others). Hopefully it will turn out that OXM was in the minority of reviews
that disliked the game.

Sadly, that was two gens ago.  This is now...  I might not agree with Bullet's assessment, but I can't blame him for feeling that something needs to change for them to produce games of both quantity and quality as they once did.
