I would agree that lately(last couple months), the X360 has been in a better position than the PS3 but you are forgetting the 8 other months of the year where the PS3 has been dominating the X360 both in sales and games.
Most likely, the PS3 will win the year and least likely the x360 will get close to par with the ps3.
