No, the Wii sells more hardware and software than the PS2 nowadays, so the days of the PS2 being #1 are already over. But thanks for reminding us that the Wii will be the first console to win two generations, the sixth and the seventh.

I think the point being made is that you're rearranging goalposts, actually. Mostly by using a buzzword that ultimately only refers to a TV output standard which is pretty close to identical to what PC monitors have been doing for about 20 years now.

Well, as you can see, it's pretty obvious that even though Nintendo sells a lot more than the competition, it doesn't matter because they still have sold 0 HD console.
