He is referring to Ogre Battle and Tactics Ogre, Johann.

Oh, ok. Haven't played any Ogre game. Are they good?

They are delectable. The envy of every Final Fantasy. My avatar comes from one such game, Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber, easily the best RPG on the N64 (arguably the best from that generation).

There were RPG's on the N64? xP

I had no idea there were any worthwhile (besides Paper Mario), though that game wasn't exactly popular, I imagine. I was more into my PC those days. Seems I'll have to check the Ogre stuff out...

edit: Have to comment on CT's soundtrack - the character themes are alone are amazing. I'd hang out at the End of Time where you could select your characters just to listen to em...

Hybrid Heaven was a decent N64 RPG too...

The story was like an action movie Scfi-story... but the battle system was... and still is pretty unique.

Starts off slow until you start getting combo moves but after that it's all sorts of fun.  If it ever got a very unlikely VC release i'd be pumped, since i hate the 64 controller and rarely have it hooked up.
