You calling it game of the year, unfortunately, does not make it so.
I've said it a number of times in these parts and I'll say it again, regardless of how I feel about it, if GTA4 does not win GOTY it'll mean that the gaming review industry are indeed cowards who do not back their own review scores and succum to the wave of hate they received when GTA4 briefly surpassed OoT as the no.1 game of all time.
I don't have a personal GOTY favourite, then again, I haven't had a chance to play many of the contenders yet.
