Wow this got way offtopic...
Well every FF related thread does anyway. I guess I should just give up...
Did anyone miss Uematsu in FFXII?
And also, do any of you know why FF characters make aperances in every square game ever, but no CT character ever does? That's bullshit if you ask me! Some CT love in Kingdom Hearts would've been great!

Uematsu is a great composer, one of the best in the industry, but so is Sakimoto, so it wasn't much of a loss. Sadly, the soundtrack, while great, still doesn't compare to Sakimoto's best  (FF Tactics). Though not many do

Are you kidding? When I think of any FF that I played that he ever did the music for, I remember at least one track that takes me back to the game. I remember one track from XII and that is Clash on The Big Bridge, which is originaly from FFV. Music just didn't stand out for me. But I guess that is matter of opinion...

PS.: I didn't know that he did FFT. That was some epic music, right there...

I never said that XII's soundtrack was on par with Uematsu's best (which for me are VI, VII and VIII). It isn't, but not because Sakimoto's much worse than Uematsu, but because it wasn't Sakimoto's best. I consider FFT's soundtrack better than any soundtrack ever composed by Uematsu (in fact, better than any soundtrack EVER except for Suikoden II, which are tied), so I know Sakimoto can be as great as Nobuo (he may need Iwata at his side, though).
