Thats exactly when i became a Miller fan also,and still believe Born Again is one of the best story arcs within a running series, but still, DKR holds it own against Sandman or Watchmen, even though Miller's writing skills are not at par with Gaiman or Moore. A big reason for that is Batman, and a peep into the kind of future he has been unwittingly creating for himself. Its no work of art, but i'll be damned if its any less entertaining or memorable than the others mentioned.
