USA Today's Pop Candy's List of the Top 25 Graphic Novels of All Time. The Dark Knight Returns comes in at #4 and Gaiman's Sandman and The Watchmen at #22 and #24.

You do realize Blankets comes before The Dark Knight Returns on both lists right? Rightfully so also.

Also: both lists are in alphabetical order.

Also, Time's list only includes novel length works. Sandman is too long to be on the list.

I'd like to take this moment to point out one huge fucking omission named Maus.

It's almost as if that list felt obligated to throw in one traditional superhero book to make things look good.

Then they had to trim it down to one Moore piece so he didn't overwhelm the top 10.
