All the Sony fans playing it wise now with hindsight; saying that nobody expected LBP to outsell GeoW2 and that it is wrong to compare a new IP with a more mature IP. That wasn't what they were all saying before. LBP was supposed to be huge (and no, people weren't saying that tongue in cheek at the time). I honestly thought it would have done a lot better myself (deservedly so) and do agree with Leo-'s post above that the stalled launch affected sales to some extent.
I cannot be bothered to trawl through all the old threads to highlight them. However, here is one of the recent threads, where Leo-J still said he expected LBP to do better in others than GeoW2.
