I agree with you on this, but the big problem is that there are more male/female couples willing to adopt than there are kids to be adopted in the U.S.  So the big question would be is gay adoption the same as conventional?

I'm sure if there ever were need for children, gay adoption will be allowed, but what about now?

Are you trying to say that there's an overabundance of families waiting for kids to adopt? That all kids are being adopted as soon as they need to be placed? Are you high? Bring some factual evidence to back up that claim.

There may be "waiting" families, but generally that's because many, many couples looking to adopt want only an infant, not some older kid who may have been messed up by someone else. Lots of the "older" kids (and lots of couples consider 2-5 years old "too old" to want to adopt them) end up floating around temporary foster situations until adulthood. You don't think a stable, loving same sex household would be preferable to that?

Annually there are about 135,000 kids in waiting, but many of them are in process of being adopted and being put into foster care.

I do believe there are differences between infant adoption and older kids being put into foster care.

There are waiting lists of parents who are willing to adopt newborn, and many can't wait so they opt to adopt from another country. 

Foster care is a tough one though.  I do knowa gay couple who are fostering - and I don't have a problem with that.   I don't know why you would think otherwise.
