| Fei-Hung said: @Erik Aston you look to make me a Sony fanboy. You clearly chose to ignore everything else i wrote. So your argument is a fail. @Godot more or less the same as above. To everyone with the same opinion. Stop being fanboys and stop assuming what I'm trying to say and just take it for what it is. No point trying to make someone who isn't a fanboy a fanboy for the sake of things. It's quiet irritating actually. Props to those who are intellectual enough to read, understand and voice their share their views on this gen and others like what the discussions in the thread are meant to about instead of worthless "he is a fanboy" approach. |
Having a differing opinion then your own, does not constitue being a 'fanboy'. To someone who doesn't agree with you, your op could be read as being extremely biased because you significantly downplay the strengths of the 360 and Wii, yet lament the inability of the "best" console (in your opinion) to exceed your expectations. Lighten up on differing opinions, it's not that hard, and you aren't always right, just as nobody else (myself included) is.
That being said, I have very little time to play games anymore, between work and family. So I truly respect/enjoy any game that is good enough to make me lose countless late night hours playing after all others are asleep, KNOWING I have to wake up the next day for work. This generation I can think of 6 titles that fall into that category (Halo 3, Gears 1 & 2, Bioshock, Oblivion and Fall-out) and countless others that come close. So no, this is nowhere near the worst generation for me, and I only own 1 of the 3 systems out right now. I imagine I'd appreciate even more games, if I had all 3.
