if it had MP3 graphics it could have been the best version for sure, but at least the controls are good, similar to MOHH2!!

 

This is what I tell everyone that says "its no MP3" see Retro Studios has some of the best artists in the gaming business, they overcome the lack of polygons and effects with design and artwork.  CoD: WaW is going for a totally different look it's not even Sci-Fi it's going for more realism, if you looked at the faces of people in MP3 they looked like corpses with no life to them, and CoD:WaW does look good in motion and using the CoD4 engine which is great.
