Personally, I love the new changes. It made the game harder than the first one and a better experience at that. The regeneration system works great because of the virus Hale has. He does die pretty fast though. The two weapon system is great. When you run out of ammo with the two guns you have (it will happen), then that's it. You better hope for the best. There are no more relying on other weapons you have. No more careless shooting. I do agree that when you need a certain weapon to kill a certain chimera, it'll be there around the corner. Coming from someone who hated the first Resistance, this game is very fun and definitely one of the best PS3 games out there. Resistance is PS3's Halo.
The weakest part of the game is the competitive, imo. The Wraith is so overpowered. Also, whoever gets the first shot wins. Co-op is the star of the show.
