I understand the complaints about the jumping, but I think a lot of that goes away with repeated plays and experience -- developing a 'feel' for sackboy's inertia/momentum. I think the physics-dependent system is a big piece of what sets LBP apart from other side-scrollers, so I would honestly be disappointed if the jumping/timing were touched in anyway. I've spent hours figuring out how to negotiate jumping within the current system, I don't want to relearn how to do it now because of a patch. It seems to me that most of the frustration is based around the fact that it feels like such a departure from other games; that LBP is being penalized for being different from Mario. I just don't see it being a problem after a few hours of play.

My biggest gripes with the game are the depth/plane autoswitching and sackboy's clipping/collision detection, and I'd grade both of those flaws as minor. The plane-switching has resulted in more accidental deaths for me than the jump timing.
