Every single Final Fantasy character that's in a KH game, Nomura has creative control over....since they are his creations. He created Cloud/Sephiroth, he created Squall, he created Vivi, so even if he left, the whole FF may not be "his" IP, but those characters sure are. It then only becomes a matter of Disney.

 

That would be awesome for Nomura, but it isn't. All his creations are SE property.
