What Made You Buy Your Console?

Well, I bought my XBOX 360 first, because all of my friends have it, and I've been playing on LIVE for about 6 years, so I have an extensive friends list to play with.

Then I went out and bought a Wii for my wife because she really wanted it. I got the last one at Target before the big Wii drought, so I was really lucky.

Lastly I bought my PS3 when I started to get that feeling in my stomach that HD DVD was about to get destroyed to watch Blu-rays. And then when my 360 went down with the RROD, I started using the PS3 as a gaming machine as well.

So now, I play both my 360 & PS3 equally, depending on which game (because each controller is better/worse for certain titles).
