I agree that Gears 2 campaign is the best this gen. However people who dont like films like Die Hard, wont like the story. Die Hard is a film with a simple story that has high production values and loads of blowing shit up.
That is what Gears 2 is. No groundbreaking story, but perfect fit for the style. The story is cliched (perfect) has one liners ( perfect ) and keeps the adreneline pumping throughout.
Forget the in depth crap that we seem to hype up like Bioshock or MGS4. Why does everything have to make you think and apply to society. Thank god every game and film is not like that.
