Do you also sook about a lack of new IP's from Nintendo?
Honestly for the amount of IP's that Nintendo have, old and new, and the fact they have to support two systems, and not just support them but make system sellers.. Is it really that hard to understand?
I think you really should be taking aim more at third parties, not Nintendo..
Think of the development cycle of Wii Fit as an example:
We want a fitness game.. Gotta do this, and this oh and this, we can't do that.. we'll make new hardware, tests hardware creates a seamless experience around the hardware.
If you were any other developer, that would not happen..
Also I think you are VERY wrong to assume we won't get anything next year.. I EXPECT Kid Icarus from Factor 5, Pikmin 3, a Zelda announcement, perhaps a new Mario announcement depending on how Galaxy's legs are holding up, obviously we know Punchout!! is returning..
Then we may see things like a new retro studios IP, a Warioware for the balance board..
Also the reason why we don't see delays for Nintendo games any more, apart from brawl is the fact that they've changed their announcement strategy which I don't agree with at all.. but hey, their choice..
One final note.. the GDC next year, I'm willing to bet we'll get a few suprise announcements ala Mario Kart and I don't think Nintendo will make the same mistake they did again at E3 next year..
AND Kid Icarus will be released next year so don't expect to see Zelda until 2010 ;)
