bang for buck? if you have live, Gears of War 2.
I don't know (or care really) how long Fallout 3 is, but online multiplayer, especially for a game as big as Gears 2, is basically unlimited playtime (Halo 2 shows that this is true).
But that's not to say Gears 2 is the better experience, but for bang for buck it is the one to buy.
