U can't please everybody. If they had made the single player campaign Co-Op, then it would not have been possible to have so many things going on at one time with a solid frame rate. To fix this, they would have to lower the textures/graphics and then more people wouldve complained because they already say that R2's graphics sucks. U can't please everybody and to me, everything they did was good (besides the not logging in for Player 2 multiplayer).

I thought the single-player campaign for Resistance 2 was a disappointment. There were moments of true greatness but there was a lot of mediocrity as well. The first game is better, even if it doesn't peak as high as the sequel does. And the graphics were very... schizophrenic. Sometimes there are some really stunning moments on screen. And other times, you get a face full of ugly, lo-res textures and cheap level design.

Insomniac put all of their time into the multi-player stuff for this game. For all of the complaints I have about the single-player campaign, the online stuff is really great. Lag free, 60fps 60-player online matches and a very addictive co-op mode make this game worth a purchase.
