Gears 2 vs Fallout 3: What's more bang for my potential buck?

I know this is late but I will most likely wait till the GOTY edition which MSFT is famous for.  Anyway, I like Pandemic and Bioware but I also liked GeoW1 too.  Please help or I will get the ohhh noessssss!!!
