id have to say the closest thing is the peripheral sales reports which have put nintendo as king with MS a close second. but you are right there need to be more well defined reports,
It's likely so far more peripherals have been sold for the 360 than for the PS3 even when taking equal timeframes, the PS3 has Wi-Fi, harddrive, HD movie support, etc by default.
