5 player co-op with waves of enemies attacking you. One member has to survive to make it to the next level. It's a great mode if you want to co-op with friends after campaign is done.
On a side note, co-op seems to be the big thing in this generation. I think R2's 8 player co-op and Gears campaign co-op are the best aspects of each title.
