Foolish bias? I own a PlayStation 3 and even own shares of Sony stock!
I own BluRay movies. Bought Iron Man on BluRay the day it was released as a matter of fact. But it IS a stop gap. If you don't think BR is a stop gap I've got a collection of LaserDiscs and MCA DiscoVision platters to show you.
Do you think HD ends with 1080p? Tomorrow somebody will figure out something that's HD'er than 1080p, tell us all to go buy new TV sets and media and digital downloads, and we'll all happily capitulate.
