Prolly because noone plays on PSN while Live is hugely popular. You want 5 million beta testers or 500k.

You do know the PSN has more members thant XBL right?

Don't know if it is true but it can't be compared to XBL.

People who pay for XBL are actives (because they pay for it so they use it)while PSN users aren't necessarily...

Those figures are totally different then. You can be a PS3 users who never play online but subscribed to PSN anyway...

Real-life example :

I'm subscribed to PSN and I don't have a PS3. Why ? Simple.

I sometimes use the PS3 of my little cousin. This is a family machine with 4 users. They sometimes go to PSN for demos, but never bought anything. Same for me, I subscribed to help them doing the update but never went multiplayer or bought anything.

BUT ... in the figures of Sony... this is technically 4 subscribed users ... POTENTIAL client yes... but no deal.

So, to help in assesing the quality of a (multiplateform) multiplayer game, this is a hardly the most relevant online community ...

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
