I believe GT is the one series that really defines the racing genre and set new level for it. More so than any other games. Moreover, there is a reason GT is considered by Forbes to be the most valuable fanchise in the videogame industry, Even ahead of Final Fantasy or GTA. |
Forbes seems to have a selective memory that doesn't include multiple Nintendo franchises, Warcraft and the Sims.
