Then why would these developers and publishers lie to gamers? Or maybe when someone in the industry who supports both platforms has something positive to say about the PS3 and negative about the 360, your insecurity bleeds through. Here, have a band-aid. So they can make a profit,If they hail the PS3 as the best console this gen then they get wild fanboys to believe them and spend more money on that system,we know that PS3 will catch up to 360 eventually,we do NOT Need countless threads telling us this.

And this isn't a SONY article, this is more specificly an Activision/Blizzard prediction of a SONY console article. That's all it is a prediction, and no one is making you think how good the PS3 is. But apparently you're pretty irrate over this positive PS3 prediction for no substanance reasons which proves my original point. Good luck with ya.

God i wish i could find that picture of *The Point* going right over your head,cause you totally ignored what i said,i said They LIED to us to get US HYPED UP about IT,Therefore WE BUY GAMES,Cause we THINK its BETTER than what the other system HAS,its a MARKETING TOOL....
And once people start to find out its not what its hyped up to be they start doubting and these threads are made.

It doesn't matter because just because you said it doesn't mean it's true. I "ignored" it because I didn't see it as you did. We all can look at this situation in a number of ways, and I don't expect everyone to agree with me. But the most conventional wisdom is for Activision/Blizzard to not lie or intentially mislead anyone especially since this report was in reagrds to their third quarter earnings which needs to appeal to the stockholders first. You don't say one thing to the stockholders, and then say something different to the rest of the public. So I highly doubt this was a marketing tactic to please PS3 fans, maybe partially but nowhere near its primary reason.

Let me put it another way...
Sony says to the stock holders "The PS3 is the predecessor to the PS2,Its gonig to sell like the PS2 did" and few stock holders are gamers so they just look at the sales..
Sony talks on E3"The PS3 is 100x more powerful than the PS2 and this and that" but they ignore comparing it to the xbox 360,Therefore they dont compare it to the 360 so Fanboys just ASSUME its better than the 360.
SonyFanboys Come running the web about how much better than PS3 is than the 360
Sony fans buy Games and Blue Ray movies for the PS3,note i said Fans not Fanboys,as even casual gamers get caught up in this hype,This is the same thing Sony did last gen wtih the PS2,hyping it up to be the most powerful console when Xbox and GC were superiour.
Im not saying the 360 is better than the PS3 im just saying that its marketing the PS3 as a super machine which only the processor is and never will be able to achieve that full power.
Btw i think the PS3 is a better deal than the 360.
