About ffxi, both of my disc drives that burnt out were while playing ffxi. I would reccommend playin on PC if possible. Thing about ffxi on 360 is the disc NEVER stops spinning, and im sure you know how time consuming ffxi can be so think about that disc drive just spinning all that time. I know it doesnt make since, because the game plays off the HDD but for some reason its programmed like that.

o i KNOW that i play ff11 all the time and it was prolly my fault but should a system be defective 4 times? in 3 years

I also play a lot on ps2 and ps3 like bazzar and stuff so its not like i play on 360 ALL the time lol. (i do love ff11 in HD tho!!!)

Yea mab your right tho i should just get the pc version. thanks for your post as you didnt attack me of claim im a liar lol.

It shouldnt fail that much, but unfortunately it happens i guess. How about my 2nd disc drive failed the night I got the WoTG expansion......talk about being pissed. Lucky for me I found a torrent for the PC version of the expansion and installed it :)

But from what I understand/and read, the disc drive failure is from buildup around the drive that occurs from prolonged use. Its actually fixable from home, but not recommended because it will void your warranty. I'm thinking that because of how ffxi runs(with disc spinning whole time) that it just speeds up the process of wear and tear quite a bit and thats why the multiple failures.
