'Variety' is a relatively new games reviewer metacritic have added.

 

They gave LittleBigPlanet it's lowest review score: an 80. (15 points below average)

And now Resistance 2 it's lowest score: a 70 (18 points below average)

Sheesh.

Then the gave Fable II a 9.8 (8 points above the average)

and Fallout 3 a 9.7 (4 points above average)

They've only given a few reviews, but already their reviews seem to deviate quite a bit from more mainstream media outlets.

 

Edit: They also don't apparently give scores on their site, instead their editor just tells metacritic the score.

 

So is this wat 1up does with metacritic as well? They gave R2 a B+ and Metacritic has that as a 83 (5 points or so from what a B+ really is) and yet they gave Gears 2 an A and Metacritic has that as a 100. I don't think a logical person would think that there is a 17 point difference between a B+ and an A.
