Congress always has a lower approval rating than the president. People think of Congress as a bunch of corrupt assholes who slow the president down (after they just elected him). Bush had a Republican Congress for 6 years, and they just lost seats 2 elections in a row. Looks like people are sick of Republicans, innit?
I keep thinking of Palin's nomination acceptance speech, when she started talking shit about "our do-nothing Congress." Hahahaha. Buzzwords can only get biyatches so far.
