I pray that Obama learns from the strategic mistakes of the Bush administration. It is promising that he opposed Iraq, but his support for the initial invasion of Afghanistan is slightly disconcerting. I agree with him on many foreign policy issues, yet I also disagree with him on a few fundamental foreign policy issues. I hope he has the insight and the wherewithal to retain Secretary Gates as his Defense Secretary.
