I don't know where to begin in arguing how wrong this is...so I just wont bother. While new players may fall in to melee/shotgun traps...people who play it more than a week or 2 should greatly reduce their close combat deaths.

Depending on the map, on most maps I don't even bother picking up the shotgun anymore...

The only problem I may have with Halo 3 multiplayer are the sticky whores...

 

I admit that I exagerated but I still saw too great a reliance on the shotgun. I'm hardly the biggest fan of Gears but I just fail to see the appeal of Halo 3's online offerings over Gears or CoD4.

 

All those games are fine games, but stuff like this only happens in halo...
