Well, unless we have some different definition of "gamer," then I'd say that's wrong. A lot of the problems with games like these is that either they're old ports that most people have already played (Bioshock PS3, for example) or have little to no advertising (Okami). I saw a couple magazine ads for Okami, but never a single commercial. Viewtiful Joe must have done at least okay, since it got its own TV show. And for that matter, why do some games with low review scores do so well? It's all about image, marketing, box art, etc.
