Well i wont waste my $ on this. The motion support is minimal at best i was hoping the game would have good motion support it's actually pretty pathetic. The only motion features are balance and forward roll, and a very unintuitive disarm move !.
No motion jump or duck, no tilt look or aim (at least upward and downward would have been better then nothing) ) , no yaw turn , no dive or slide, no motion steering during running, no strike moves.
The Xbox360 uses the same control scheme i guess.
This game is a good example of where the Ps3 could show some good use of motion instead it fails to do anything to differentiate from the 360 version which is why i wont buy it for the Ps3 and will just get the PC version if any.

I don't know why on earth you would want more motion controls on a PS3 game. The Sixaxis is terrible for motion controls. The first thing I did after I finished the demo for the first time was to go into the control configuration to turn off the motion controls.

I agree, I don't think I've played a PS3 game yet where the motion controls didn't feel gimmicky and tacked on. Even though they were small the motion parts in Heavenly Sword completely turned me off from the game. I got about halfway through and traded it back in...so annoying.

The balancing parts in Mirror's Edge were really annoying with the Sixaxis, I fell a couple times trying to use it to cross just in the tutorial. I'm glad there is an option to disable it I didn't check when I played the demo myself. When I tried the 360 version I had no problems crossing with just the analog stick.

Well the PC version will have mouse support which is about the best motion control available - till the developers start using the sixaxis motion features or add mouse support to PS3 games. The Wii version will surly have better motion support probably using the light gun and the motion sensing features - it may be the best version to get !.

One good thing about Mirrors edge is there is not so much shooting - which is good because trying to aim with a thumbstick is so slow and awkward compared to the speed and precision of a mouse.
