Maybe they do. I mean, I never had to hand crank a car to start it, but I think I can appreciate what I have now. I don't consider myself an elitist or anything. Back when I was playing Pac Man, Burger Time, and Commando at my local Minit Mart, I was having a blast. I wasn't thinking about how hard I had it. Every year my hobby just kept getting better.
Remember when movies had REALLY shitty special effects? Same thing. We appreciate the advances, but it was never really a problem.
