I wonder what Tecmo thinks of all this. I figured the only reason MS stepped in to publish NGII was because Tecmo wanted the game multiplat for monetary reasons, while Itigaki and MS did not. I figured this might have also had a hand in Itigaki getting ousted. I wonder if Tecmo would let TN get away with making exlcusives for either the ps3 or 360 without compensation from either MS or Sony. |
I suppose we'll see. Personally, I don't feel Team Ninja is anywhere near where they were last gen, when they were quite possibly pushing graphical boundaries beyond anyone else out there. Their series are not so ambitious that they can't be multiplatform without losing something between each console.
@jo21-Any reasonable person knows this and most developers have openly said it for a while now. It was never that the PS3 was not more powerful, but that Sony's development tools were garbage for quite a while and getting a similar result to a 360 game took more manpower than the 360 version does. It's clearly obvious to anyone that isn't in complete denial that the PS3 is to the 360 what the Xbox was to the Gamecube.
