Actually it does matter even if the PS3 AI is good enough in Resistance and NGS or whatever game. One of the main promises of this generation is better and better AI.
I expect some games to push this, also I am doubtful of what the Ubisoft guy said, if you read the article it doesn't have that part in quotations, he actually says himself (the writer) that the Ubisoft guy 'basically' said that the PS3 doesn't have good enough AI...
Eitherway let the games speak for themselves, if this statement is true and it is a bold one then I expect some groundbreaking AI from Splinter Cell Conviction when it comes out or the guy will totally be proven to be BS-ing. If it doesn't have AI that trumps anything we've seen so far then his statement was obviously exaggerated.
