It is more like a 75%-85%, to me. If you see the reviews, you will notice that all of them rate the game always taking the saga into account, but not as an isolated experience played by someone who just happened to have a Wii. To some extent, is the same thing with some sequels like, GTA IV, Halo III, and others. The single game, without the prequels, is not that good. Is it a bad game? No at all. Just overrated, specially if you are not a fan. |
Yeah, I get it. As long as what you say makes sense, then it's all good. If it was a fanboy reason or something, then it would have been different! It's like 360 fanboys downgrading Metal Gear Solid 4 when they never even played any games from the series anyways.
Oh, and I was talking about game series in general, not just the Metroid series.
