So, I went online and found a guide on how to repair the 360's disc drive. I took my 360 apart (I've had luck with the PS1 and PS2 in the past). It didn't take long to realise that I was in WAY over my head. I decided to improvise. I grabbed a clothes hanger and stuck it into the console and started banging all of the moving parts with it (science!). Now, it's working. I'm afraid to mess with it because I know it won't last long.
But mark my words: I have hundreds of games and 3 other consoles in my house. I WILL be playing Gears of War 2 on Friday, even if I have to make a few "sacrifices".
