Eh, it's no biggie. I'm not a big fan of the franchise, but it just seems like EA knows C&C isn't the nearly the phenomena it used to be, so it looks like they're trying to gain some support with a corny sense of humour.

It's true that Red Alert isn't what it used to be as far as fan/communnity support so they had to find a way to reach people. I suggest you check out their videos at http://www.ea.com/redalert/media.jsp . Corny, self-deprecating and self-aware humor works very well over the internet.
