Ugh. American Dad is horrible and Family Guy is The Simpsons put through a filter and spattered with 80s pop culture references. Meh. Family Guy was amusing for a short time but after the second season or so, I just stopped caring. How many times has the Stewie character been done in the past? 100? 200? 5,000,000? The super-smart evil baby/animal/whatever concept is beyond stale.
Futurama, on the other hand, is head and shoulders above either show. At least the humor tries to be clever now and again.
