Sony will release 8 new packs consoles before Christmas, divided between the PS3 and PSP ...

For Christmas, Sony has every intention to announce new console packs on its PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Playstation Portable (PSP).

On the agenda for the PS3, we find that:

  • The pack PES 2009, including the game of the same name and the console 160 GB version for the price of 449 €. Already available.
  • Pack MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, with the 80GB version PS3 and Dual Shock controller, 3, for 399 €.  Available since October 30.
  • The pack LittleBigPlanet, with the PS3 80 GB to 399 €. Scheduled for November 7.
  • A pack Special Blu Ray, including the 5 Harry Potter movies in Blu-Ray and a voucher for the 6th since its release, with the PS3 80GB at a price of 449 €. Scheduled for 21 or November 26.
  • The pack Need For Speed: Undercover, always with the PS3 80GB at a price of 409 €. Availability early December if everything goes well.

As for packs for the PSP, we have:

  • LocoRoco Pack 2 for 179 €, announced for November 14.
  • Brain Twister Pack for November 28. Price unknown.
  • The pack Need For Speed: Undercover (again) at a price of 199 €, scheduled for early December.
