That scene's great, it's a great way to start an excellent JRPG, but the japanese voices make this scene (and in fact all the game) a lot better, Fayt's voice in the Japanese dub is simply amazing.

 

This +1, sept in my honest opinion Till the end of times English was far better... then again i dont understand japanese so there could be some biased to it so...

 

Well, I admit I didn't see much of the game with English VA, only a few cutscenes, on the flipside, I played the entire game with japanese voices (and it was even before I started studying japanese) and I found all of them simply perfect, one of the best game dubs I've seen (or rather, heard). If you say that the English dub is good, though, I suppose I should take your word since you played all the game with it
