Write down your dreams. The process of writing them down will make you remember more details. The more dreams you remember, the more you get into the process of remembering your dreams, so over time you'll wake up with more details left. You'll eventually get so aware of your dreams that you'll be able to tell when you're dreaming and you'll have lucid dreams all the time. I used to do this. I think I kept a dream diary for about a week and started having lucid dreams a couple times a week. Drawing anything particularly weird from your dreams helps too. I used to draw maps of places I dreamed about.
