Europe is so badass...if I had learned French earlier in my life I would be living there right now. The citizenship requirements are a bitch though and in my chosen profession, a lawyer, it is difficult as hell to get certified in France. I know because I actually looked into it.

Our average vacation time here in the states is about 10 days a year. In France, the MINIMUM vacation time is 5 weeks. How awesome is that? Plus they have less to worry about once they retire and they have free healthcare THAT IS BETTER THAN US HEALTHCARE!

Well, in the UK, it's a month (plus 8 public holidays). You also gets six months paid maternity and 1 week paid paternity (though, last I heard, this is looking to be increased). You ain't gotta learn French, as a plus. But we don't really need any more lawyers, lol.

What we do need, though, are game programmers, the industry is streched, here.

On the downside the UK is the only country that doesn't have the 48 hour maximum law. This law basically states that noone is allowed to work for more than 48 hours. In the UK, you can work over that, but you're employer can not force you to.
